Heads Up: C-Span coverage of Senate hearing tomorrow on personal Y2k preparedness

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

C-Span will make a decision at 5:00 p.m. today on whether or not it will assign cameras to the Senate Special Committee on the Year 2000 Computer Crisis hearing tomorrow regarding personal preparedness.

You can find out for sure, by calling the C-Span hotline around 5:30 p.m. today. The number is 202-628-2205.

If someone in D.C. could place the call and post the answer here, I'm sure it would be appreciated by those for whom it would be a toll call.

Thanks in advance!

IMHO, Cox report gets all the coverage / ink tomorrow. Y2K hearing will be no more than filler, if that.

To save on phone charges you may want to check C-SPAN's schedule for Tuesday online, and C-SPAN2's. As of 6pm EDT there was no schedule available on the phone recording for tomorrow. And they had only posted online tomorrow's schedule for C-SPAN up to 9am. No schedule was yet available for tomorrow for C-SPAN2.

Looks like the testmony will be broadcast. It will be available from http://www.senate.gov/~y2k/
