Mr. Yourdon,

Please check out my thread, "New Drivel on the Sentate Website". Why in the world are they posting such nonsense? Right before Tuesday's hearing?

Please ask them on Tuesday how they can justify "a couple of extra cans of food" as preparation. Why are they having the hearing at all if this is the line of crap they are going to continue to shove down our throats???

Thanks, I'll try to track it down and read it. I've just arrived here in DC (late Sunday night), and am planning to attend John Koskinen's press briefing Mon AM, where he will apparently be "rolling out" the governmental initiative for community Y2K awareness. Have heard various rumors, but not sure of the details.

Also still trying to whittle down the written testimony that I've prepared for the Tuesday hearing into five cogent minutes. Will post the written testimony on my site on Tuesday.

May all the silver tongued spirits in heaven be with you; especialy Santana, the great Kiowa personage(I can't remember if he was a chief). There is a toastmasters group here in SW OKlahoma named after him. Seriously, good luck to you and I'm hoping that your day testifying is a 'NOTHING" newsday so it will get at least more attention. P.S. My sweetie and I will be in the region of the beginning of the Pecos river is August - our annual trek which we love.... SO nice when it is over 100 degrees here in Sw Okla.
