Is the telephoto lens accessory for Coolpix actually zoomable for the CoolPix 900? What is the quality of the fisheye lens for the CoolPix?

I,m still waiting for the camera (ord 3/5 for $815 from buy.com) but I received the 2x teleconverter. It's just what it says - a 2x magnifier. No zoom capabilities but the optics are made by Nikon so I suspect that they are superb. When engaged with one of the built in tele features (up to 3x) it will be the equivalent of a 38-230mm lens (no zoom - 6 settings). If also used with the digital zoom (up to 2.5x) that capability rises to 575mm telephoto! (Bear in mind that, unlike an optical zoom, a digital zoom will lose some resolution in operation.) I have no info on the fisheye lens but 24mm should be pretty cool. And I wouldn't hesitate to purchase any optics from Nikon.

I have the nikon fisheye for the CP950 and it works beautifully although you do have to either zoom out a bit (from wide angle) in auto mode or use the 2 preset modes in manual modes for this lenses. One, you have a full circular fisheye mode and two, you have a fisheye distorted wide angle mode. Works beautifully with my CP950 to create panoramic images!
