Puddintame,

You might want to inquire to postmaster@y2ksenate.gov. Depending upon the system, that MIGHT get you to a systems person that may be unaware of their problem.

The original message was received at Fri, 21 May 1999 15:37:15 -0400 (EDT) from user-2ivf0bq.dialup.mindspring.com [165.247.129.122] Here's the response I got:

----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----

----- Transcript of session follows ----- 550 ... Host unknown (Name server: y2ksenate.gov: host not found)

I got the same response when addressed to postmaster.

It looks like I found the answer. According to the committee's website, it's year2000@y2k.senate.gov My other address showed no "dot" after y2k.

Puddintame,

So it doesn't go into a black hole, it's best to have prior approval, from a "live" staffer for submission. At this point, if you haven't already contacted them by phone. I'd get movin' ifin I was you.

Check your "e" in a few.
