Is the Comprehensive test ban now at risk

My question to this forum's Members do you feel the the Comprehensive test ban(CTB) that outlaws the testing of Nuclear weapons, but has never been ratified by the Senate can be salvaged. The Chinese and the Russians have suspended cooperation in the military area and at this time ready to resume testing. Is the resumption of nuclear testing preventable. Many people including my self have work hard for many years to get the CTB to the table. It is now very much at risk.

I would appreciate your thoughts on how we can stop them from breaking the treaty by their resumtion of nuclear testing.

I feel very strongly against nuclear testing and the downwind dangers it poses to all of us. I think this is an area we need to stand firm on. How do we presure them not to do it. Your thoughts please. thanks y2k aware mike

In theory, I think these threaties are great. However, in my honest opinion, the reality is that the US is usually the only party who abides by the treaty rules, while the other countries secretly build up their nuclear arsenals. I don't think we can trust countries who openly declare that they want to destroy the United States, but then smile and give us lip service at the same time. IMHO
