First of all, congratulations on maintaining such an excellent resource to digital imaging! Imaging Resource is probably my favorite bookmark.

I want to purchase the *best* slide/film scanner that I can get at a "street price" of no more than $2000.00. Your review of the Nikon LS-2000 is indead impressive. There's one other possible player though, and that may be the new Polaroid SprintScan 4000. I noticed in the Forum an email dated April '99 which stated that a future review of this scanner was planned. Any progress at this time? I'm anxious to buy my new scanner, but need the thorough review that Imaging Resource is known for in order to make an informed decision. Thank you very kindly for any response.
