Any reason to blow holes in this major market media coverage?

Just curious about "the gang's" opinions on whether this "survival guide" has any missing chapters.

Garbage. This is worse than what Mr. K. has released. All of it off target and much exaggerated nonsense. If the fed's are going to pretend this is "training" people to be ready - even for 3 days, they will:

lose anybody not already convinced Y2K could bring real disruptions - those longer than 3 days max. With these "leads" and graphics, no body will listen - so the media and federal government will have succeeded in their goal to ostracize those who prepare.

not remove concern from anyone the least bit knowledgeable of the issue.

not affect anybody whose has their mind made up to pull cash out - still the administration's single "boogey man" - those who see this will withdraw cash.

Who did the ((..)) inserted comments? - some were pretty good, a few a little off base.

Unless otherwise preceded by an identity, my guess is the parenthetical (sp?) comments came from "man on the street" interviews or clips from movies, etc.
