CPR, aka Charles Reuben, clarified his "threats" somewhat in another thread on that message board.

He takes particular offense at individuals or groups who wish to use Y2K as a method of overthrowing the US govt.

Plotting to overthrow the US govt is apparently illegal. (that's a rather vague description, I don't have the law in front of me at the moment, sorry).

He does not appear to be "keeping a list" of EVERYONE who discusses any ramifications of Y2K computer problems.

Whether he is keeping a "list" at all is suspect. Perhaps he has alot of time on his hands? whatever, everyone's gotta have a hobby...

He, himself admits there will be problems, but it is the normal evolutionary cycle of business, the strong survive, the weak didn't deserve to be in business.

Charles is not a complete Polly, nor an Idiot, he just doesn't see a connection with computer failures and social unrest.

He does not suffer fools gladly. (those that he deems fools)

Of course, neither does Paul Milne. (those that he deems fools)
