"EXPOSURE LADITUDE"of DIGITAL CAMERAS

At some point I will receive my COOLPIX 950.I wonder how much you can get away with,exposure wise,with digital cameras?Would it be like print film or slide film?

Sorry, but the exposure lattitude of today's digital technology doesn't compare with film favorably. But - for most photography it really doesn't matter. It depends on what you want to do. If you're taking pictures for the web - there's going to be no significant difference. If you're shooting family pictures - again - no big dif. If you are shooting weddings and product shots for magazines - well, you better start looking for new customers cause no- one will come back a second time.
