Full response to query "Do you see domestic application of non lethal weapons? Such as for Y2K chaos/crowd control?":

Absolutely. In the U.S. today we have a very large disenfranchised population. The potential for civil disorder is quite high, in my estimation. This is an area in which non-lethal weapons can play a vital role in restoring order, protecting lives and property, without further degrading the relationship between govt. agencies and the population. The govt. needs to maintain control and do so with the minumum of force necessary

Government control at who's expense Bill. Your comments are characteristic of the propaganda machine generating sympathy from the Bills of society who need government to control them, and will be controlled by martial law right around the corner.

You can use non-lethals all you want, I will keep my "lethals" thank you. If I want to be non-lethal, I will freeze the paint ball pellets and use the paint ball gun... OUCH!

beggin' for scraps,

MC, did you _actually read_ the article Bill references?

In it, you'd have seen that the response Bill P quoted, "Absolutely. In the U.S. today we have a very large disenfranchised ... govt. needs to maintain control and do so with the minumum of force necessary", was that of Dr. John Alexander, in reply to the question Bill asked.

>Your comments are characteristic of the propaganda machine generating sympathy from the Bills of society who need government to control them, and will be controlled by martial law right around the corner.

... and your addressing of your criticism to Bill, instead of to Dr. Alexander, is characteristic of those who fail to do basic fact-checking before spouting off right-wing propaganda about martial law.

Desert Dog::

Old enough to remember the Mac11 Paint ball gun?? Any idea where to find one??

Now don't go flaming, folks. This particular gem fired a 40 cal paint ball using a large shotgun primer and plastic "brass". Had the same cyclic rate as the original, was an exact dup in appearance and was SOOOOO much FFUUUNNN to shoot! ANd I didn't get one while I had the chance, working for one of the importers. DRATZ!

Omm Right PS its target market was Prison guards, as the rounds could contain either indelible paint in 3 color choices, CS gas, or be solid gelatin.
