Guatemala Is All Over Y2K - Beats Y2K Like a Rented Mule

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Now if you believe everything you read, Guatemala has beat y2k like a tethered yard dog. Check out this Dept. of Commerce site:

Norm and Y2K Pro must work for the Dept of Commerce. I am surprised they haven't posted this wonderful news. Maybe Guatemala could send some of its ivory tower geeks to Washington to fix those pesky computers that our own rubes and goobers can't seem to figure out.

It's curious that the Department of Commerce posts no link to Venezuela. Check out this page: click here for no link to Venezuela

Time to change those bugout plans and head S.O.B.

Actually, south of the border is not a bad bug out place. We have property on the west coast of Costa Rica and I am not exaggerating when I say you would have to be awfully lazy or handicapped to go hungry in that country. Also the temp is constant year around and is goverend by altitude. Can't find nicer folks that the Ticos.Very pro yanks.

They got plenty of beans and rice and 'nanners.
