Hi M.D.Moore, I am several hundred miles away -- sounds interesting though. The church I belong to is big. Except for me, a few other families and one single guy, everyone there is DGI, even the minister and his assistants. So, Bravo, for your church. Hope it goes well. If you don't mind my asking, what denomination is this church?

How far from Louisville? I might have to take my UK license plate off my truck and instruct the kids to speak yankee but sounds good.

Hi Guys,

The church is Christ Community Church. It is on N. State Rd 59, Brazil, Indiana. It is right off of highway 70, easy access. It is a non-denominal church that is really on fire. People of all backgrounds go there...and miracle of miracle....get along! (abt 2.5 hrs from KY) Here is alittle about the seminar from flyer they put out.

"With y2k it's better to be Safe than sorry!! According to the Red cross, FEMA and a growing list of others ...it's time to prepare. Join us at Christ Community Church Saturday May 15, from 11:30-3:30 for a live satellite broadcast. National y2k seminars are a grass roots effort to educate the public about y2k preparation. There is ample evidence that many organzations will not be fully y2k compliant. It's time to realize that no one can predict the outcome with certainty. All people must take steps to prepare their families and communities for y2k. Participants learn a 30 day preparation plan for these Scenarios: Annoyance, approximataely 3 days of interruptions. Bad problems- approximately 3 weeks of interruptions and Catastrophic consequences- approximately 3 months or longer.

What to do about Food, Water, Heat, Light, Finances and Emergencies are all covered in this seminar. Participants also learn the imprtance of working together as a team versus survivalist mentality. Key speakers and content providers in the series Jim Lord, Shauti Feldhan, Jospeh project, Dr. Steve Farrar, and Michael Hyatt. No charge to attend."

What cha think???

Dinty,

Need directions from Frankfort IN and directions to church in Kokomo..

Thanks,

-- Tess (preparingfortheworst@prayingforthebest.com), May 12, 1999.

Hi Tess,

Take 421 South out of frankfort to 39. Stay on 39 until you get to intersection at 36 (Danville Indiana. Go West, which is right thru bainbridge(light at intersection of 231) and on to flashing light at Bellmore. That road is 59. Take 59 south towards towards Brazil.(left) Just on the North Side of Brazil, on the east side (Left) up on a hill is a white church, with sign, Christ Community Church. If you get to the Citgo in Brazil and flashing light you have gone a little too far. Turn around and go back just a little bit and look for church on hill. It it in Brazil. Did you want directions from Kokomo also?

Church number is 812-443-0423
