O.K. This may be an exercise in futility, but here goes.

This weekend I got a very nice, used, heavy duty 24" cable release with an extra long plunger and a 90 deg. angled tip built in. Thing is, the tip, upon closer examination, has threads of an inapproriate size, as if the usual # 5 - 44 ISO standard tip has come un-screwed.

Does anyone know of an accessory tip made by someone or some other way to render this wonderfully made piece of gear as a usuable item rather than a frustrating paper weight
