Hello Walter,

Try searching for American Radio Relay League. www.arrl (maybe?) Sorry I didn't try finding the internet address before writing back to you....If nothing else call Norman Brooks 916-972-0998 or Jon Kasamajor at 530-893-5599 or 893-5599. These folks are on my list for Northern California as instructors and members of that club.

Good luck!

Kristi

Hello again,

The address is www2.arrl.org/

They have a way to look up clubs in your area.

Good night.

There's a club in Theodore, AL, about 35 miles from you. Here's the club information from the ARRL club search page:

Contact person: Thompson Samuel T
Call Sign: KC4OLV
Club Address: 6250 Mc Donald Rd
City: Theodore State: AL

Ham club????

Isn't that a sandwich with turkey, lettuce, mayo, tomato and ham instead of bacon? Me thought I'd found an interesting menu item....Oh well........

Fortunately, being one with the spoon, I took it well........

If you join a ham club, kretsmars are good, but the field kentuckian is better. why? because I'M THE POOR SHMUCK THAT HAS TO SLICE THE HAM! and the kretsmar ham has a net that is a bitch to remove! the field kentuckian has no net. in the meat dept., when someone asks, "whats the best ham"?, we always say "the field kentuckian is the best ham", because we know damn well we will have to slice it!
