Nikon 950 or Kodak DC265??

Help!!

I'm trying to choose between the two, both seem to be high quality cameras, only the Nikon coolpix 950 has a higher res. I will not be zooming into the pictures a great deal, but as they are both at similar prices is it better to go for the Nikon and get more pixels per pound??

I'd be greatful for any help or advice!!

TIA

Adam

No expert advice here, but I've waited for buyer's remorse after getting my 950 a few weeks ago. None at all. I haven't been into photography since I sold a Leica fifteen years ago. This camera is fun--I never hesitate to take a picture. There's a lot to get to know, but the frills seem rational, and I can't believe how good the pictures look.

Absolutely Nikon Coolpix 950 is much better and produces jaw-dropping photos. I just got my DC-265 and am very disappointed by its lesser performance in delivering excellent macro-images like 950 does.

Nikon CP950 is a good choice, you won't regret.
