I've noticed a trend on this board that is a bit disturbing. Following a post that would tend to support a Doomer's point of view, there is increasingly an answer that typically begins ... "Let's see what the pollys have to say about that." Or something of that nature.

Perhaps its the intent of some of these "pollys" to do exactly that ... get posters and lurkers to concentrate more on them and their antics than on the matters at hand.

Info posted should be digested for its content, not as an opportunity to "show" the pollys. Just my two cents.
