Proposal for a grade of B

I am finishing my year long proposal the involves after school hours and time in the special education room. I have met some new students when one of my Core Plus Math classes was collapsed so that I might pick up a basic skills math class. I also supervised a student teacher for the first time in my career. I will submit a 2 - 3 page paper of my reflections of the year and consider any changes I would like to make for next year.

Proposal for a grade of A.

I am reading one the books Great Book series we looked at in class. I would like to write a 3 - 5 page report on the book entitled "Thinking in the Future Tense." I would like to share my reflections on the attitudes and behaviors to which the book's author would like us all to aspire. I am finding myself more and more skeptical of reform for reform sake. It's not that I am afraid of change, it's just that I've seen a lot of change that was meant to take us forward that has done just the opposite. I'd like a clearer vision of how reforms will take us into the future as well as a means of gaining some measure of assurance that the reform measures will do what they are supposed to do. Thinking in the future tense might give me some insights about reform or give me something to think about in order to soothe some of my skeptical nature.
