Haven't researched it yet, but it was mentioned at the tail end of an article in The Deseret News.

I remember a related article in the Washington "Bleeding Heart" Post describing the Marine exercises as practice for "government workers armed with staplers and briefcases storming the treasury looking for paychecks". This quote is as close to verbatim as I can come without the article in front of me. The article struck me as having a large disconnect between what was happening, and what was (jokingly) described.Fortunately, though, the Dow is doing great, China and Russia are our friends, and BJ Clinton "feels our pain".

Tried to pull up my link to Executive Order (EO) #12938 which I believe pertains to Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) and would tie in closely with this newly created FBI department.Anybody have a link to this EO?

On the governments info.gov site, if you search for National Domestic Preparedness Office youll pull up 24 hits. Couple that term with Y2K or Year 2000 computer problem or Year 2000 problem youll get zip thats targeted. (Cant get the Structured Query language to work right).Its all in the keywords used, intentionally, and not, within the source documents.
Then, sometimes you just have to read-between-the-lines. At least, some good investigative reporters are.

is quite interesting. It appears that y2k will TAKE a BACK SEAT to some other event that will attempt to MASK the governments shortcomings in their remediation efforts. I know the GOVERNMENT TROLLS will jump all over this one but let's see how it plays out.
