Another thing I noticed

O.K., I know most of you have probably already seen this, but I'm gonna point it out anyway. In the first short of the first season, watch carefully at the part after Aeon shoots all those hidden asailants and before she pulls out her map. It's kind of hard to describe exactly what happens. Suffice to say it's a metaphysical impossiblility. Then, after more Breens start shooting after her, she does it again! Has anyone else noticed this? Maybe you could describe it for us?

First off, there is no such thing as a metaphyscal impossability. Metaphysics deals with philosophy, spiritualism, ect.

The scene is reminiscent of one of those M. C. Escher drawings where people climb up stairs that are really floors that ae really walls. The backgrounds are so abstract and come so fast that you do not have time to process what they are before you see Aeon walking on them. It also reminds me of the panels of a comic strip, showing a continuos action from different angles and moments in time, but since the "frames" of the "comic panels" are camoflaged as futuristic abstract architectual elements it gives the illusoin of a single smooth motion. It truly is a clever piece of animation that gives the impression of how mazelike the compound is.

P.s. If you look closely at the money with Trevor's face on it at the end you can clearly make out Goodchilde's signature on the bill's corner.

This type of transition is also present in 'The Purge'.

...and also in Leisure and Utopia or Deuteronopia. I think that counts as a recurring theme. :-)
