Thirty-seven percent said they knew someone else who was preparing for potential Y2K problems. Most said these people were either storing food and water or getting their computers fixed.

The poll, based on telephone interviews March 30 through April 8 with 392 adults, suggests that relatively few people are preparing for problems. Only 26 percent plan to do anything, while 75 percent apparently aren't.

Another example of pathetic journalism. Are you going to trust your life to someone who can't count to 100???

The percentages are rounded, hence can add up to 101%.

I would certainly hate for MY future to be planned by the 'random' sampling of 392 people (out of 255 million). I think I'll just go on my own way. Wonder where they took that sample?
