Gather ye rosebuds while ye may,

Old time is still a-flying:

And this same flower that smiles today,

Tomorrow will be dying.

The glorious lamp of heaven, the sun,

The higher he's a-getting;

The sooner will his race be run,

And nearer he's to setting.

-Robert Herrick

A questian - blue... , ahh, it doesn't matter, catch you later

I KNOW that I shall meet my fate

Somewhere among the clouds above;

Those that I fight I do not hate

Those that I guard I do not love;

My country is Kiltartan Cross,

My countrymen Kiltartan's poor,

No likely end could bring them loss

Or leave them happier than before.

Nor law, nor duty bade me fight,

Nor public man, nor cheering crowds,

A lonely impulse of delight

Drove to this tumult in the clouds;

I balanced all, brought all to mind,

The years to come seemed waste of breath, \\ A waste of breath the years behind

In balance with this life, this death.

I close my eyes, only for a moment and the moment's gone.
All my dreams, pass before my eyes a curiosity.
Dust in the wind. All they are is dust in the wind.
Same old song, just a drop of water in an endless sea.
All we do, crumbles to the ground though we refuse to see.
Dust in the wind. All we are is dust in the wind.
Don't hang on, nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky.
It slips away, and all your money won't another minute buy.
Dust in the wind. All we are is dust in the wind.
Dust in the wind. Everything is dust in the wind.

My thoughts on Chilcoot Trail Supplies, my first prep Guide.

Forget the bacon., it won't stay nice

Increase the oats, and beans, and rice Potatoes are a must, or a gotta' at least Bakin lotso' bread, so got lotso' yeast Leave the eattin' with your eyes to restraunteers' Plenty of salt an peppa for the coming years

My tooth's more sweet than sour I'd say 100# of sugar? maybe two?.... Otay!!! Forget the Tack, it's forever hard... And that's a fact

There's plenty I'm still up in the air about,

when to Scream, when to cry, when to pray, when to shout But there's some sure things I'll never doubt; For the love of my family, I'll do most anything,

Hide my pride, stay the course, persevere under strain

Bear any label, barely able to swallow my pain F... Everything And Run won't be my credo the year (FEAR) It's lack of Faith that gives way to my undaunting fear

By damn if I'll let those two stinkin' digits

the sand in the oil of all our little widgets' Be my God or my master or my final frontier Sooo my friend, it's back to the basics for me

Love of God, Love of good, Love of family

and oh yea , thanks for lendin' an ear by mikeymac@uswest.net
