Glenn- Sorry for the slow response, constantly trying to dig-out from under the ongoing review work. We're STILL working on Sony, have no idea when/if we'll finally get them on-board with us. Toshiba has promised us a PDR-M4 as soon as they get some in this country, with English menus, etc. Hopefully will have a unit to test within ~2-3 weeks, will try to push the review out as fast as we can. - The *big* news with this camera sounds like speed: Toshiba has told me it can capture successive images all day long (or at least until you run out of memory space) at less than 1 second between shots!

As a Sony Cyber-shot user I can say a little about the F55. I have a few pic on my Homepage and plan an 'evolving' review of the camera as time goes on. :)

Here are a couple of things I posted in other places:

good: good color rendition, swivel lens, MPEG motion capture, sound annotations, automatic 'emial-size' (320x200) copy creation, autofocus, digital zoom (640x480), digital effects (b&w, sepia, negative, polarization), reflective LCD, metal tripod mount, cool zoom and pan during playback, small and light

bad: fully automatic exposure, poor low-light performance, no optical zoom

not so bad: Sony proprietary memory stick (have PC card adapter will travel)
