what is so wrong about seeing an opportunity and exploiting it?why do pollyanna types freak out at businesses that market goods to y2k nutbags(me included)is it that they're terrified that they'll have nothing I want to trade for my tampons or toilet paper?or am I somehow immoral for planning on trading after y2k causes problems and not giving up my preparations to some co-operative so I can feed eerybody who could have, but didn't?fie on them!the world's a pretty heartless place now, just wait....got beans?

zoobie,

In my opinion, the "pollys" on this forum do not want to interfere with your economic freedoms. If you want to buy pink plastic flamingos with your hard earned cash, by all means. I may not agree with your particular taste in lawn ornaments... but to each his (or her) own. The government is only entity actively involved in both reducing your income and directing your spending. Rail against them, if you are so inclined, but lighten up on the so-called "pollys."
