What is the difference between the MiniDV cassettes with memory chips and those without? Is it worth it to spend the extra money on the tapes with the chips? Are there any good e-commerce/mail order sources for ordering tapes in large quantities?

Answers

THe chips are only of use with the features included in Sony camcorders, decks and editing systems. It does not affect the quality of the tape.
