Grade Desired for Spring Semester = A

Last month I had a bone scan and was diagnosed as "osteoporotic". This indicates that I am well on the way to having osteoporosis. I have decided to go on a quest and find out what I need to do to stop the progression of this disease and possibly rebuild bone. I would like to submit my findings for treatment in a short paper as one of my projects.

I am currently in the process of attending Food Stamp Nutrition Education Program classes with second and third graders at the Hill City School with one of the program staff members. I am also interviewing the two classroom teachers and taking pictures of the children learning about nutrition. I am doing this as I have been asked by the Families That Work state office to submit an article for publication in the summer edition of "The Communicator". This is a quarterly publication that is a collaborative effort between the nutrition education programs, the College of Human Ecology and the extension service. The article is to be 500 words and is due May 15th. I would like to submit this article as my other project.

Oh my. I'm so concerned for you, but I do know from my own reading that with attention, you will be able to keep on top of this. This is, of course, fine for a project and more importantly really useful gathering of information for you and others who probably need the information (I can't remember the stats--isn't it 1/3 to 1/2 the population?)
