House Denies Support for Airstrikes

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Challenging President Clinton over Kosovo, a divided House withheld its support for NATO airstrikes late Wednesday after voting earlier to limit his authority to use ground forces.

The votes came despite appeals by Clinton for the nation to speak ``with a single voice'' on the escalating conflict over Kosovo and a warning by Democrats that Congress was sending a mixed message to Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic.

It's nice that not everyone on Capitol Hill is going along with BJ Clinton!

I hope that the Congress impeaches Clinton again, and removes him from office this time. I know that this is a pipe dream.

Could it be that he and his henchpersons know that Y2K will cause a meltdown and they need the war to create the conditions for martial law? While truth is the first casualty of war, civil rights follow closely behind. Think of the Japanese-Americans during WWII. All BJ Clinton needs is to have agent provocateurs create some atrocities, like a bazooka attack on the U.S. Capitol.

First they tell HIM he should consider ground forces, so as not to send Milosevic a mixed message, now THEY are sending a mixed message by not supporting the airstrikes! Politicians are all full of shit and we now have a case of too many cooks spoil the broth. If I were Clinton I would just do what the Commander in Chief is entitled to do, and tell all those other jerks to go straight to hell.

This is incredible. Standing back and looking at it, I wonder what the hell are they doing. Are they really going to say the buck stops here? Will this be Clintons power grab oportunity we have suspected may happen in near future? It's kind of scary to have our power structure at odds to this degree. Oh well, Another day in America.

R. Wright,

Our "power structure" is having its strings pulled by a much larger power structure that has had a "power grab" on our country since long before Clinton was even born. This whole fiasco in Kosovo has been engineered as a way to increase the strength of the New World Army, and it is going perfectly according to their plan. We will soon be witnessing the largest deployment of troops in the history of the World for these so-called "police actions" and "peacekeeping forces." Let me introduce you to the New World Order.

@, I'm not unfamiliar with this. I still believe (seriously) that this can be a great nation. If congress would do their job, who knows what tommorrow could bring.

Too late. To Joe & Jill Sixpack (and their Yuppie kin), Dan Blather and his advertisers seem so "nice" and "honest". The people reporting what is going-on at a deeper level seem like "bozos" in comparison. I love WorldNetDaily, shortwave, that IRS guy that wrote a book explaining that the IRS is essentially illegal, etc, but they are not as "slick", influential or "polished" as the mass- media.

As long as Dan Blather (and his NBC/ABC peers), Hollywood and Government ("Public") remain as strong as they are, nothing can be done. Too late.

Feel free to expain why I am wrong (if I am). I don't like this impending feeling of doom.

Make that Government ("Public") schools.

Gotta get 'em while the're young.

You're right, I feel that the "rot" has gone too far and that it's a matter of time until it all comes down around our heads. The sheeple are about to take a pounding, and they will blame us, as we are the ones who warned them, and we are opposed to our losses of freedom. Get ready. Got bibles??
