Hallyx, Gilda, Chris (catsy). Saw a post from Greybeard but miss his past frequency. Uncle Deedah doesn't post much. And where is our Dieter? Is everyone okay? Check in from time to time, willya? There are absent others who won't come to mind right now because I'm an

With so many threads, it's tough to know who's posting anymore unless you read them all. I only get around to 1 out of 5 threads these days and I pick them based on the subject line. Hallyx and Gilda have been posting on another thread lately and Uncle Deedah is Dieter and he apparently doesn't like to be summoned :-) Haven't seen Chris recently.

Chris is posting under other names. If you look hard enough you'll see the tell tail sign of her demented mind.

I miss Bardou. I consider Bardou and Old Git to be my Y2K mentors in many respects. Especially Bardou with her struggles to close her mother's house and bring her elderly mother to live with her. Bardou, hope you are well, and either posting under a different name, or at peace away from this crazy forum.

I mentioned this on another thread, but I miss Arnie Rimmer!

Now Critt, you know I can handle it! Thanks for the reassuring info, David. Someone who doesn't care, thanks for caring enough to let me know Chris is still around and still demented. Brooks, you're right about Bardou, not so sure about me. Gawd, don't let me influence you (Sweetie would tell you he doesn't listen to me, and you shouldn't rither). By the way, my family name is Brookes with an E. Yup, Donna, Arnie is another one I miss. Who else? I know there are more. I have notebooks all over the house but it's like glasses--I can never find them. Someone should invent a notebook with a cord around it, you know, like those for glasses, especially made for an

See, Gayla, I thought you were Donna. Must be time to take my meds!

I've disconnected from the internet and am posting from a library computer. First time I have visited this site in over a month, I do miss you all, but life for me is getting better and there comes a time when you just have to step back from it all and catch your breath. I have my garden in, my mother moved, and before TSHTF I'm going to do a lot of camping, fishing, and 4-wheeling with my family. I'm thinking a lot clearer and have reflected back on all the hours I spent Ed's site trying to help people and I learned a lot from others on this site. I'll check in from time to time, and I do miss you all, but now I want to just stop and smell the roses and have a good time. Bardou

That's OK, Old Git. I don't mind. I like Donna a lot.

Good for you, Bardou! A lot of the old timers that I have talked to off of the forum feel the same way. Glad you checked in, though, so we know you're OK. I don't want to take any of this year's time for granted, either. We are leaving next week for a 3 week vacation. :-) Since my husband's company has already told him he can't take vacation the last part of the year, we're going to use most of his days now.
