My first week with you was brutal! I now know that male road rage is not limited to cement spaces but also cyber spaces. That is I know the rules...that's all I need to survive. There was actually some decent dialogue in between the flame throwers and grenade launchers! May I offer the following rules of engagement for this upcoming week: 1)may civility and decency not be a lost art, 2)don't waste energy food fighting we may need all that food someday, 3)can we talk about something that can be quantified like "how many computer experts can stand on the end of a pin"-the theoretical does not seem to matter much-reality either way is 8 mon. away. Glad you survived the first week. Don't worry about civility to much, it adds flavor to the forum. We all can sling it and take it. Good Luck!

You think this is bad?

Head on over to csy2k - baseball bats, napalm, uzis, chain mail, hate mail are the order of the day.

We are a bunch of pussycats in comparison :)

As Gilda said on the other, clearly accidental thread, "Welcome to the Battle Room of Ender's Game"

this pretty much describes us. with the same function, which is to prepare us for the next level of .....

MALE road rage!!!what sexism, obviously you've never been cut off/run off the road by one of those I-drive-an-S.U.V.-so-I-have-power-soccer- moms;a menace to everyone. DRIVING IS NOT THERAPY!!!GET A SHRINK!!SAVE A LIFE!!!

Good morning Mark,

Glad you survived the experience. Check the archive, it's not only us chipsters that go at it! However, once you look past the BS, there is much to be learned here.

I didn't forget my promise to post my opinion on Beach. I had hoped to have it done this weekend, but my house mates forced me into a massive spring cleaning campaing, among other things. I'll have it done in a day or so, I hope! That should stir things up again. <:)=

"house mates?" As in "fraternity house" or "halfway house"? Inquiring minds want to know.

"Welcome to the Battle Room of Ender's Game"

Yeow! What a metaphor...

As I recall, the winner in "Ender's Game" unwittingly exterminated a sentient and sapient species save for one individual, and struggled with the guilt thereof for many years afterward.

Surely that's not what we're about here. We've got a deal of nitpicking , irrelevance, contumacy, recalcitrance, truculence, petulance and ignorance -- all representative of our tribe, I admit -- but I've noticed some saving graces too.

who do that voodoo,

Speak for yourself. I share the rent with 2 other guys on a big old farm house, that sits on a 155 acre farm. It's going to be a real nice place to be if Y2K hits the fan, unlike the asylum that you are apparently in. <:)=
