P Mount Adaptor Made Anymore?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Pentax 67 SLR : One Thread

Does anyone know if Pentax still makes the P Mount Adaptor for using 67 lenses on Pentax's 35mm screw mount bodies? Also, is anyone familiar with the Pentax SV camera? Was it like a small version of the 67?

Thanks Tapas for the info. I have heard that the SV is becoming collectible, so the adapter idea was an easy way to have a ready supply of 67 lenses for it. I'll try the used market for "P" adapter.

Well, it's official, the adapter-P is no longer made for using P67 lenses on Pentax 35mm screw mount bodies. It was not listed in the new P67II brochure. SR

Steve

I've just looked at a recent UK catalogue and I can only see a listing to the K bayonet. I'm sure that K to screw mount adaptors are fairly available though.

In the UK we have a company "SRB" that specialise in making custom mounts and I guess that something similar would be possible anywhere.
