Noteworthy quote...

No one has a magic number for how much to have on hand, although the International Association of Emergency Managers recommends 30 days' worth of medications along with a seven-day stock of food and water.

And will those people who have only 7 days of food and water still be alive at the end of 30 to finish up their 30 days of meds??

One question in my mind remains unanswered however. 80% of all medication INGREDIENTS come from overseas. Why, as a kidney transplant patient, should I trust that the production of all my meds will continue? There are NO guarantees, here, folks! To tell me that there will be few or no problems is laughable; sorry, I'm not about to take their word for it. I'm stockpiling a h*ll of alot more than a one month supply, and I'll have the water to drink it down also. People like me who depend on drugs to stay alive on a day to day basis have to decide on their own how much to put aside, taking into consideration the expiration dates and how much they can afford to purchase. What these companies do not realize is that if we DON'T have the meds we need, we will die. But if you don't live with a daily med(s) the thought doesn't cross your mind.
