I'm with Taz on this one.

My culture survived in an extremely hostile environment by thinking ahead, storing against adversity, never eating next year's seed and relying on personal efforts. I believe there is an important difference betweeen the world turning TO you and the world turning AGAINST you. Since all I have to give is knowledge and I often cannot give that away, nor can anyone steal it from me I have nothing to fear from the world.

Anyway, all I fear is that I am not of the saintly persuasion...

Blue--I'm racking my brains, man--the Denali chapter...which book is it in? I've got a civil-war era browser and don't get scenery...was it Kipling? Melville? Stephen King? Well Zoobie, you make an interesting point, but the way I see it, a true Polly Christian will (a) NOT attack others if ts DOES htf; and (b) WILL be taken care of by non-Polly, prepared Christians. Birds of a feather and all, y'know ?
