Hi. I am a jeweler and would like to buy a camera that I can take closeup shots with. Need to be able to fill the frame with a piece and get a decent pic. Now useing a 35mm Manual Minolta with 3 close up lenses. Was looking at the Kodak DC120 which I think they are phasing out. Any experience with this camera. I was hoping not to spend much more than $500.00.

The HP PhotoSmart C30 might be worth a look. It gets good reviews. The only thing it is missing is optical zoom. I personally have a Epson 750Z but in most places isn't under your $500 limit. (It has an excellent macro mode.)
