I just purchased a vcd of a rock band performance. It's really cool, but didn't come with instructions on how to stop the vcd in mid-play. For example, if i want to play the vcd, i must play the entire thing before the menu comes up to exit the program. I know there has to be a way to exit the video at any time, but i just can't seem to figure it out without re-booting the pc.

Try using Microsoft media player. or better yet use lady bug 98 you can get this at http://www.neatware.com/Product/Ladybug98/index.html
