Stained whites

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Poodle Support Group : One Thread

A has a white Mini which he shows. She is rather allergy prone and as a result has some staining on her poms from licking them. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to remove the stains. She is bathed weekly, never allowed to get urine on herself and is seldom on grass because of her allergies. Many thanks Wendy, and her happy little bunch Reubin, Taylor and Nadia

Wendy, Try changing her food to a high grade, natural, all human grade ingredient one like Innova and see it that helps. Lots of commercial dog foods have additives that some dogs can't handle such as wheat, and soy.

My mother and I have a brother/sister poodle team...my poodle never has had a problem with food intake, but my mother's poodle is a different story...the vet informed her that if she bought some of the bone-cookies the dogs love so much, that it will help her teeth...also, there is a toy they can chew on that has threads on it to help clean the teeth...you can also try the beef flavored dog toothpaste and special toothbrush available in alot of pet stores...and as much as your doggie begs, human food is the worst thing for them!!
