What's going on here? When was the last time you saw something like this in your neighborhood?

The following photo was taken at a Chevy/Oldsmobile car dealership in Lafayette, Georgia. Can anyone go have a looksee?

Curious, ey? Of course, the photos could have come from overseas.

The picture at http://www.newswatchmagazine.org/unvehpict/unveh6.htm is dated 10/11/95. This just goes to prove that school buses look so much better in white than yellow.

"These vehicles are coming into our ports -- namely Port Beaumont, Texas--at a staggering rate." Any posters from Pt. Beaumont able to comment?

There was another thread about this some time back.

Panic not! If these photos are real then all I can add to this is...WE WIN!

I have a letter in my files from the Pentagon. Told them several years ago to prepare for trouble, that is WAR! They wrote back and told me I was imagining things. I think not!

WE WIN! This is my real email address. Write me if you want to know how it ends, or begins, which IN MY OPINION it has! Might be wrong but I don't think so! Everything else checks out to my (His) predictions!

Flame on!

If I don't respond to you for a while it is because I am going up to Love Creek!

For those that did not go immediately to the pictures, there are several of Un vehicles with UN on the sides. They are white with black letters. One says UN Military Police.

Question. Why are they here?

Where is here? What makes you think they are in Georgia? Or Texas?

There isn't anything in the pictures to indicate what the locaion is and I think David Binder had the right of it. Nice paint job.

The 1995 date is in two of the pictures.

No name of the Georgia dealership. No name of the person who responded RE: the paint job.

A guy at work said his daughter was at one of the big "US National Parks" last summer and the people running it had were wearing UN apparel. This was soon after Pres. turned over "our" National Parks to the UN by Exec. Order. Maybe they just need them to go 4wheelin' Anyone know the Number of that particular Exec.Order? My friends don't believe me when I tell them.

oh good grief, these photos have been floating around the net for at least three years that I know of:

1. Both bus pictures are simply a white bluebird company school bus - if you examine the image closely, you'll see that someone has used some sort of tape to apply the letters "U" and "N" while standing at the rear wheelwell of the bus or buses - could just be two pictures of the same one. - note the difference from the way the insignia are centered on the sides of the other vehicles In other words the pictures are an intentional hoax, and not a very clever one at that. From what I hear from some folks who live near the bluebird plant, they're also a running joke among local residents.

2. The Humvees and so on are in the standard markings of vehicles being sent to serve with UN peacekeeping forces in europe and the middle east. They're generally painted that way from the factory. If I had to guess, the Humvees in question appear to be configured for duty in the mideast, but that's just a guess.

you'd think after all this time the folks trying to perpetrate this hoax would have at least come up with some better pictures...

Georgia?

Hmmmmm. Blue Bird - the leading school bus manufacturer is located in Fort Valley, Georgia.

Guess what? When they make a new bus, THEY PAINT IT to the buyer's specifications. If the UN bought a bunch of busses, they'd get the same consideration, I think.

Could THAT be what's going on?

Jolly owns a Blue Bird, too.

Arlin, I did not post this thread out of ignorance. I have been watching this and many other issues for quite a while. I am simply asking for one or more of our contributors to confirm or deny said postings. I give cities. I give locations to visit. Maybe it's a total fabrication. But! What if it is not? What if one of our posters can say, yes, they have seen same, in person? Oh my, what then?

I don't think this is asking too much, and it is most certainly on topic with y2k. You're entitled to your skepticism. Every one is. I am simply asking for more. I don't often take the easy road of writing something off just because it doesn't fit in with my view of reality.

Jolly Prez, thank you for your posting. Although it is not conclusive of something go on, it does present an intruiging concept to the question at hand.

the "US Man and the Biosphere" link is http://www.usmab.org They try to tout it as a US program, but the "candidate" areas are still presented to UNESCO for their "acceptance."
