My first Y2K conversation in public

Today, I was doing a little shopping and I had my first ever Y2K conversation with someone that I had never met before. I was in a small shop and heard the owners in the office talking about what kinds of seeds to buy, then power, then Sept 9, 1999. I asked "Y2K?" Answer was "Yes!" I told them that my work was in the computer industry, and it had the potential to be a real problem. (I didn't tell them that I thought it would be about an 8...) Anyway, within a couple of minutes of speaking with them, they were both outside and talking to me face to face. The man was very interested in what I had to say. They were talking about ordering dehydrated food, and I told them it may be too late to do it. I suggested that they start making their own dehydrated food and explained how they could.

Anyway, I was thinking about printing out some of the "Best of the Best" discussions here on prepping. I am wanting your help in pointing these out for me, as I am hoping to go back tomorrow and hand them some good information. My printer is loaded, and I am waiting.... I did mention a way to put up ground beef that is cooked then dehydrated. The man was taking notes and nodding yeah. Just want to help these late comers out...
