Give Peace a chance. As we take a deep breath and look at what is happening in kosovo we have to ask ourselves why is this happening. Has the U.N. become an ineffective dinosaur needing to become extinct.

Their purpose was to prevent conflicts like the Gulf war and kosovo which now bring the world ever closer to the Brink.

They have fail us in a major way. If they want their back dues from the U.S they should earn their keep. Having to put our children's future at risk because they are afraid to cut off a brutal dictator's money supply until it get's so late in the end game that they have to be bombed to be stopped is outrageous. They seen what was happening with saddam and molosabitch ( sorry about the spelling) years ago. The fact that they turned a blind eye makes them just as responsible for this outrageous war now going on.

We cant let this supidity be compounded, we must act to stop this war before it multiplies any further. One thing about wars they are unpredicticable, uncontrollable and you never know how far the damage will reach.

We must stand up and be counted now. Write your congressmen and senators and ask them to find a better way than war to give peace a chance.

We live on a fragile planet inhabited by children.

It only takes 1000 nuclear devices to extinguish all life on this planet. Is it worth it. Work real hard for peace. No more Hiroshima's please. The Russian's and the Chinese are not playing. Be Vigilant demand that they keep trying. Let your local paper know that we are not please with the way they are handling this insanity. They have a responsiblity to give us the facts not propoganda. We need resposible media and leadership now. Love and peace and give your kids a big hug and tellem you love them. y2k aware mike

Well, *I* wrote my senators and congressman over two weeks ago.

Neither Senator acknowledged the letters, and the congressman obviously only looked at the subject line, and ignored what I had said. I got a form letter stating "we're behind the troops but don't want to send in ground forces unless absolutely necessary" yadayadayada.

Folks, write all you want, but I don't think they're listening.

*sigh*

Jolly might run for Congress next year.

y2 mike,

Did you ever watch congress at work? Did you know that over 2 billion (90% USA) has been dropped on serbs. What coorperations supply the materials for our drops? What congressman/woman represents their (corp.) district. Please don't hurt anyone email won't get it.

I've been writing those idiots for years and have told them many times that their stupid (non)policies would lead us into a major war. These people ru(i)nning our Country are just too blind to see anything but their tax and spend corrupt agenda.
