If you choose number 2, how/where do you plan to party?

For the benefit of folks who didn't take the time, the two options from the "Gary North is a Big Fat Idiot" website are (paraphrased):

1)hang out (in anxiety) on the internet to see if it crashes or

2) party your *-* off.

I would like to offer a third option, a Y2K gathering where monitoring what's going on around the world and with the internet, etc., is part of the evening, and sharing visions and plans with close family and community friends is the other part of the evening.

Perhaps, a "last hurrah" banquet wouldn't be innapropriate, replete with the luxuries that all but the richest and most prepared may have to forego after the rollover.

BTW, whatever you think of gary North, it's hard to ignore his contribution to Y2K awareness. I do object to the offensive name of the above-mentioned website.
