Radio y2k COMPLIANT

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

We now have proof, from the FAA and the power industry, that radios WILL work in 1999, when dates are rolled over to 2000! It's over folks! Give all that food to Kosovo. We don't need it anymore!!

For newbies....... This is satire.

For newbies, this is the rant of a gloomer who sounds dissapointed at the good news in the powere industry. Gloomers HATE good news, it makes their apocalyptic fantasies even more remote.

Hey Y2KPRO,

I am interested in buying all of your supplies that you won't need now. Call me at BR 549. How much did you spend all together? I'll give you 25 cents on the dollar. Is it a deal?

Considering what I've spent, Ya gotta deal Thrifty (or Scotty, or Ray or whoever you are today)

Actually the EU just demo-ed the cell phones. I still haven't been able to pin down the FAA, yet. So far,it's managed to prevent anyone from making a reliable, consistent prediction about its ability to be compliant in time. So, I guess you can say from all that, that, if you can't get through to your favorite out-of-town SO on the land-line, you can still depend on your trusty cell phone. Or so NERC would want you to believe.

And forget about sending all that food to the Kosovars. They're burning the food we're sending them. Something about unfit for human consumption....

The report is attributed to Reuters, but a (non-functional) link is at the WorldNet Daily website.

y2k moron; I have not changed my name. It as it has always been. Oh yeah,,,, your spelling is worse than mine!

...perhaps Scotty/Ray/Andy, I am an engineer after all, however, since you are in attack mode, you might want to proof your own posts. Sentence structure does not seem to be your strong suit - does it?

"It as it has always been."

Just heard Rush talk about the Kosovar's burning the food sent to them. Go figure...
