Last year I tried working with threads in the Y2K Today Forum.

Results: *&#$!*#&!!!

A few months ago I tried working with threads in the Y2K Today Forum.

This morning I tried working with threads in the Y2K Today Forum.

Results: *&#$!*#&!!!

*&#$!*#&!!! = "Whew! This is cumbersome. Slow? ZZZZzzz..." Since a good number of familiar Yourdonite names display in the drop down list on their query form, I would be curious to know two things about peoples' experience with the Y2K Today Forum:

How do you experience it's ease of use?

And, has your query returned meaningful hits?

I copied some text out of a thread and pasted it into the query form. It returned nada. I picked the author from the drop down list (Cole, Wendy). It returned nada.

"Gee, maybe I should quit grousing about a Greenspun Q&A without a search engine."

I gave up instantly, and have not retried. Besides, the whole site is too clumsy.
