Did ACL, SAL, or SCL have any cabooses similar to any commercially available models?

The easiest one to answer at present is that there is a new model just out of the SAL 5200 series wood cabooses, the American Model Builders laser-cut wood kit of this car. The Society has the kit in stock at $30 plus $3 shipping. The new Lines South (now at the printer) will have full information including suggestions for details and painting. You can see the caboose at the AMB website, http://www.laserkit.com.

Otherwise, brass models have been done of the ACL M-3 (wood) and M-5 (steel) cabooses, and SAL wood and steel cabooses, which sometimes are available at train shows, etc. Also some plastic models of the extended vision caboose (SAL 5700 series) have been produced but I don't know how close they are in terms of window placement and other options.
