I am not sure that anyone knows how many systems remain to be remediated and tested. Many have not even begun in smaller businesses according to the Senate report. There are so many areas in doubt and there is so little information. No news is not good news. I understand the fear these companies have of legal liability, but some of the companies that are compliant are beginning to say so. What about the millions of others? Now that some are proudly claiming compliance, I must beleive that the others cannot do the same. The ones that are compliant have nothing to fear from liability or the many legal beagles would not let them announce. Those that choose silence have no reason to do so and cannot be ready. All else aside, the state of affairs is grim.
