I am interested in modelling CoG diesel switchers and have a few photos. What was the box on top of the hood in front of the cab? I have seen it on SW-9's and Baldwin S-12. Does anyone have any close up shots to show details of these boxes? Thanks.

Ron,The big box on the top of the long hood houses the radio communications equipment. I'm probably like a lot of other CG modelers in that I have a lot of photos os locos with the box, but not any that shows good detail. Bob
