North has got it straight, right down the line. Putting down a wise man, is a fools only claim to fame ( " He's smart; but I'm smarter !). Eagle

From your site:

"Time Bomb 2000 written by Ed and Jennifer Yourdon, is a book about surviving the potential collapse of various infrastructures of civilization from the y2k computer bug, and is based largely on the doomsday analysis of Gary North (according to North 90%). Mr. Yourdon removed the prominent link he had on the title page to Gary North's Y2K Links and Forums when the controversy surrounding North's extreme views erupted. The absolutism of North is reduced to unrealistic and unwarranted 10-15% probabilities and 1-10 year apocalyptic scenarios. The book has already proven to be embarassing, both socially irresponsible and technically inaccurate (for example, see the Preface, and a utility expert's response). We should be concerned about the y2k bug. We should also be concerned about the deforming bedrock of North's apocalypticism and sensationalistic motivations on the factuality of this book. "

Oh! I GET IT! Yourdon is a revisionist religious fanatic just like Gary North! You've certainly made it clear. And all this time I thought Ed was a down to earth technical guy that basically had his facts straight.

Thanks for sharing that big brain of yours! Are you planning an Ed Yourdon is a Big Fat Idiot site?

'a':

Ed Yourdon has basically said that the incompetence of government programmers is exceeded only by their apathy. As a government programmer yourself, you might be a candidate for charter membership to your proposed EYBFI site.
