Harlequins! Harlequins! Harlequins! My friend has actually modelled a Jetbike Squadron for them! Evil! Evil! Evil! His normal troopers cost 63 points on average! His 2,000 point force has 17 models! aggh! No one plays them, but they kick monster/chaos/astartes/impie/ork/and eldar ass!

Harlequins

Is this in 2nd edition? I assume it is, and I found that if you use harlequins, there can be no half measures. Use all harlequins or none. In a 1500 point army, a squad of 10 costs over 400 points- a major investment. They are good, but have no armour. For heavy weapons, don't buy a Death Jester, buy a Great Harlequin and give him a Maugatar. (Cheating? Kind of) You can't use them in 3rd edition yet, but I assume they will be in the codex. Personally, I think they will be even better(!) since they will count as being in cover. Just a hunch.

My experience with an army full of 2nd edition squat thunderers really makes me appreciate em. Nobody fears the Imperial guard, but some people can turn them into badasses.
