Here it is folks -- one of the most amazing y2k-related statements you're likely to encounter anywhere:

Dear Appalled,

Actually I can think of some others make that one look brilliant and logical by compaison. Lifted from GN's site Chuck Colson of Watergate fame points out that Y2K is no problem because the errors in the calendar system misdate the birth of Christ, so the 2000th birthday of Christ will occur in 2003 (or some convuluted nonsense like that, I had trouble not falling out of my chair on that one).

However, the coal not computer one definately ranks in the top ten.

P.S. Perhaps we should inform Rich Smith of Milwaukee that turbines run on bearings and not coal? ;) ;) ;) Of course it might confuse him even more. (if that is possible?)
