Exchange between Larry King and Art Bell on Larry King Live, March 5, 1999:

                                 KING: Why is it called Y2K? 
                                 BELL: 2000 -- simple 2000, 2-0-0-0. 
                                 KING: And the Y? 
                                 BELL: I don't have a slightest idea. 
                                 KING: Who put a Y in there? 
                                 BELL: Two -- 2K is 2000. But Y2K? 
                                 KING: Year 2000 -- that's what it could be. 
                                 BELL: Year 2000.
