What is needed to advance the state of the art in Iridology?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Iris Analysis : One Thread

To advance the state of the art, a baseline study of iris color and texture is needed, then a study of correlations between iris structure and health predispositions. Use of a microprobe technique to identify an elementary analysis of the variously colored pigment granules found in the melanocytes of the iris will provide clues as to their origin and how they are produced. Morphometric and statistical studies have been done with measurements of pigment granules found in iris melanocytes using SEM transverse section micrographs. The main correlation is between pigment granule size (400 to 800 microns or so) and darkness of the coloring. After understanding how the various colors are produced, one may consider the significance of color.
