I hand reared my Kitten since I found him without his eyes even open on the roadside. At about three weeks, he began to take after my grown dalmation. At first I thought that maybe he had thought of her as his mother, but I am not sure. He is almost a year now, and we still cannot get him to eat cat food. He follows my dog every where, and she has grown just as possesive of him. The strange dog-like behaviour doesn't bother me, but I am very worried about his eating habits. Can someone please explain this?

Answers

One of my cats relates more to my dog than to the other cats. But you have to be careful not to let the cat(s) eat dogfood. My MCs love dogfood but I started feeding the dogs separately as there are not enough proteins in dogfood for cats. Cats can literally starve by eating dogfood only.
