I would like to try my hand at drying fruits and vegetables and wonder if anyone has any tips on how to get started using materials found around the house. I don't want to have to go out and buy a food dehydrator just yet. Is it possible to use an oven or microwave oven? Where do you store the food after you have dried it..is there any special treatment of it necessary?
